Company
About CleanTrades.
A trading studio for people who trade their own money. It charts the market, puts the filings behind a company one click away, and keeps an honest record of what you did and why.
What we build
Three things, and deliberately nothing else: a chart that draws instantly, research pulled from primary sources, and a journal that turns your trade history into something you can learn from.
We do not place orders. CleanTrades never touches your brokerage account except to read a trade history you choose to import, and that import is one-way.
Why it exists
Most trading software grew by accretion. Every feature anyone ever asked for is still in the menu, each panel loads a little slower than the last, and the thing you actually opened the app to do sits four clicks deep behind a promotion for something else.
CleanTrades started from an empty file with one rule that has not changed since: if a feature does not help you make or review a decision, it does not ship. That rule is why there is one plan instead of five, why pages load in well under a second, and why this page sent no JavaScript to your browser to render itself.
Who builds it
[FOUNDER NAME] builds and runs CleanTrades.
[Two or three sentences in your own words: how long you have traded, what you built before this, and why you are the person doing this. Specific and checkable beats impressive — "eight years trading my own account, previously built X" carries further than "seasoned market professional".]
It is a small operation on purpose. There are no support tiers to be handed between. When you email, [FOUNDER NAME] is the one who reads it.
How we make money
Subscriptions. That is the entire model.
CleanTrades costs $59 a month and that is the only way money reaches us. We do not sell your data, we do not sell advertising, we are not paid to route your orders, and we accept nothing from brokers or issuers in exchange for coverage. There is no free tier, because a free tier would have to be paid for by something on that list.
It keeps the incentive honest. If the product stops being worth $59 to you, you cancel and we lose. Nothing else pays us to keep you.
Where the data comes from
Company filings and fundamentals come from the SEC's EDGAR system — the documents companies filed themselves, not a vendor's summary of them. Market data comes from IEX.
Where we derive something from a filing — a split history, a dividend timeline, a share count over time — we build it from the filing itself and keep the trail back to the document it came from. That is slower than buying a feed, and it occasionally puts us at odds with a commercial data provider. When it does, the filing is the tiebreak, and you can go read it yourself.
We do not audit what a company reported. If a company filed a wrong number, that number carries through to us. Our own parsing is best-effort. For anything material, read the original document.
What CleanTrades is not
We are not a broker and cannot place, modify, or cancel a trade. We are not registered as an investment adviser, dealer, or broker in any jurisdiction. Nothing in the product is a recommendation to buy or sell, and nothing in it is tailored to your circumstances, because we do not know them.
The full position is set out in our Disclaimer.
